Drawing on my family’s history for inspiration, my work explores how a person’s story can influence the world that they live in and examines how the loss of a loved one can change the shape of our lives. Using film photography as an avenue to take more time with my subjects and allowing their memory to live beyond a fraction of a second exposure. The limited frames making me pick the moments I choose more carefully. 

A native to the DC area, I received an Associate in Fine Art from Northern Virginia Community College in 2012 and Bachelors in Fine Art Photography from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 2016.
